David Cho the head of the secret service’s presidential security detail to resign and join Hedge Fund Citadel. David Cho has been in the U.S Secret Service for over 25 years serving 4 full President’s terms of which the other 3 served 8 full years and one half of the term. David Cho is also the first Korean who is the head of the Presidential detail. The firm Citadel confirmed that David Cho will join at Jan. 3 as deputy head of security. According to Bloomberg the White House and the Secret Service declined to comment about the future resignation of Cho. Cho was head of the Presidential Protective Division before this year. Cho was awarded by the Department of Homeland Security the gold medal for exceptional service. The current Deputy of the presidential security detail Darryl Volpicelli is thought to replace Cho after resigning.
