The FDA authorized an emergency use for the booster shot. But the FDA doesn’t have the final say on this The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and its advisers board members must allow its use by a recommended detailed decree of who is able to take the booster shot. Over 54 million Americans are elderly over or are the age of 65. Over 54 million people are able to take the shot if the CDC recommends its use as the FDA emergency use.
