Ethiopia inaugurates 303-million-dollar Bank headquarters building

The Ethiopian Commerical Bank (CBE) established 80 years ago by his Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I as the state bank of Ethiopia: has inaugurated their 48-story high building, which is the tallest in Ethiopia, and the 3rd tallest in the whole continent of Africa. It is the 1450th tallest building in the world according to Skyscraper city. The building measures 687 ft tall from above the ground and has an additional 5 floors underground. The building started construction in 2015 and has officially been inaugurated on February 13, 2022. The building will but in the near future be surpassed in hight by other buildings set to be built and completed in 2026-2027.

የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ከ80 ዓመታት በፊት በንጉሠ ነገሥት ቀዳማዊ አፄ ኃይለ ሥላሴ የኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት ባንክ የተቋቋመው የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ በኢትዮጵያ ከፍተኛው እና በመላው አህጉር 3ኛውን ከፍታ ያለው ባለ 48 ፎቅ ሕንፃ አስመርቋል። የአፍሪካ. ሰማይ ጠቀስ ከተማ እንዳለው 1450ኛው ረጅሙ ህንፃ ነው። ሕንፃው ከመሬት በላይ 687 ጫማ ርዝመት ያለው ሲሆን ተጨማሪ 5 ፎቆች ከመሬት በታች አሉት. ህንጻው በ2015 ግንባታ የጀመረ ሲሆን እ.ኤ.አ.
