Ethiopia is ready and capable enough to fight off attacks against Egypt and it’s air force if they choose to strike. Ethiopia has acquired the S-300PMU1 air defense system and also Pantsir-S1 from Russia with Israeli technology also with the SPYDER-MR and possibly the SPYDER-SR.
Ethiopia secretly ordered the S-300PMU1 air defense systems. BBC reported that Ethiopia never ordered the S-300 air defense systems from Russia but satellite imagery we have been able to fact-check that BBC claim as inaccurate and wrong.
At least 2 Pantsir’s have been spotted near the dam: with S-300 air defense system.
Not only Russian technology but also Israeli technology as the SYPDER have been seen at the dam.
Prime Minister Netanyahu when Prime Minister Abiy had come to Israel said that there will be sales of military weapons to Ethiopia and that statement seems to be true seeing this image showing Israel defense on the GERD.
