During the speech Biden added that he heard from Uvalde massacred family members that they urged him to ban assault weapons. He noted that if that couldn’t be the case the age of assault weapons be turned from 18 to 21, he noted that Texas has a handgun law making sells for people aged less than 21 to not be able to but handguns, but yet he also noted that Texas has a law allowing assault weapons for people aged less than 21 starting from 18, showing that it is possible to ban assault weapons for people aged less than 21.
