
The Supreme Court voted that the Texas abortion law to stand in the state, meaning that federal courts and certainty state courts cannot ban or block the use of the law. Protesters and activist have said that this is unconstitutional and is against Roe V. Wade Supreme Court ruling in 1973 which allows abortions to take place as constitutional. The courts also ruled in Favour that state court clerks or the Attorney General cannot be sued for obeying the Texas law.

The Court also ruled that people can sue members of the state medical board.

But nonetheless the court warned states from copying the Texas law.
